Züriberg Trees

So here's some nice leaves that came back in a recent bunch of black and white negs.
Nice clear spring morning so I went up the Hönggerberg looking for the view posted by z a few days ago. No luck though, so I took some trees instead
Grasping for illumination from my botanical readers.... (They're red, by the way)
This might also be of interest to Ham, Chuckeroon and other OM devotees. It was taken on a walkabout with the Zuiko 200mm F4 attached to the Canon EOS5D. This is the start of a wee tribute I'm making to the Zuiko/OM-system tradition. I hope to publish some thoughts on my collection of Zuiko lenses over the next few weeks (on another blog, yet to be born)

Christmas was white frosty and cold, although it didn't snow on the day. This is another photo fropm the hills above Zurich
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, just outside Zurich, and for some reason I've become obsessed with it. I have no idea why, and this is just one of many treatments I have tried, some even in "colour". So I've posted it here to see if anyone can give me a clue. If everyone else thinks it's plain boring then I will make an appointment to see someone...
Leica M8 35mm Summicron
A slight pun in the title. Everyone is posting autumn photos, so this is my contribution, and yes, yet another season has come and gone...
Leica M8 35mm Summicron
A few yards from the previous dark, urban image, we come across a scene of bucolic serenity, straight from Hobbiton
Leica M8 24mm Elmarit
Some more shrubbery, caught in a patch of sunlight outside a florists. (I have no idea - I'm sure someone knows. I posted it in colour to make identification easier)
Not my usual sort of subject, I caught this speug (sparrow in scots, prounounced spyug) perched in what looks to me an uncharacteristic position. Normal habitat in Zurich is on cafe tables hoovering up left-over croissants. This looks like a Scottish speug on it's summer hols
More flowers. This time photographed with Leica M4-2 35mm Summicron Tri-X

Flower picture taken in Hirslanden area of Zurich where they have a wee sort of village with in the city. For the technically curious, taken with Canon EOS5D, hand held, EF24-70 F2.8L, converted to B+W in photoshop using the channel mixer to simulate a b+W blue filter. I should add I'm not 100% happy with the cropping - any suggestions gladly entertained. Here is the uncropped image.
