It's so good to see how this cafe constantly inspires creative snapping. Now...I must ask.....is this an instant of sublime creative achievement or a superb example of victory snatched from the jaws of disaster? Rarely has a stack of knives and glasses appeared so intriguing. Nice...as usual.

For this one a few details about camera make ......type and lens only (f stops and ISO are irrelevant)? How "sad" can I get!!!!!!

Chucker - technically I think it could have been taken with anything - but seein as 'ow you ask. Leica M8 35mm Summicron F4 1/30sec. Shot "as seen". Backlit, exposed for the highlights, shadows took care of themselves, masked out a wee bit of window at the top of the frame. (Of course the ability to react quickly and unobtrusively is important...)

...exactly as I thought. It's fun trying to make these work.

I'm embarassed to say that I had a time trying to figure this out. Thanks to Chuck for the glasses, but I don't see the knives!!! I thought it was salt shakers. Well whatever, it's a wonderful shot and I am in awe AGAIN. You make it sound so simple and for me at least, it's not. Good one, Richard.
