Vock Antiques

I posted a photograph taken through this doorway way back at the start of the blog (probably a much better photo). I pass it regularly and I like the way that some things have stayed the same, especially the light, but there are subtle changes (like it looks as though they sold a lot of stuff)

Perhaps not the world's finest photo (nor even yours ;-) ) but I love these "glimpse shots" which seem to add up to more in the mind than the camera can make of them.. I'm always trying to catch them.....but mostly the camera is not around.

I like the sort of shots that depict some places in progress, just how they change with some time passed. nice photo.

Chucker - yes - these are visual memories, and so quite personal and stronger for me maybe than viewers. I think you get satisfaction from your photography if somehow you can transmit these memories/reactions to others. Maybe only photography has the ability do this telepathic thought transference thing ...

Interesting how just a few items can change the tone of the photograph.
The first one is gay ( I use that word in the traditional sense).
The second is serene.

beautiful, yet when I looked back to the first, like you, I preferred the it.
