Leningrad Cowboys

Time for a change. Time to lighten up a bit. Time to.. well I don't know... the Leningrad Cowboys defy description. However this excerpt from their Wikipedia entry might give you a clue.

"The songs, all somewhat influenced by polka and progressive rock, are performed in English and have themes such as vodka, tractors, rockets, and Genghis Khan"

Richard:

What a great video.

How did you know that one of my favorite songs and all time favorite movies is "Sweet Home Alabama"? When I was working in Nashville several years ago, I went honky-tonking late one Saturday night and it seemed that every 4th song played was "Sweet Home Alabama" and that the age differential between me and everyone else in all the bars just kept getting larger. Everyone knew the words and sang them at the top of their lungs, completely uninfluenced by the consumption of adult beverages.
