A quick question: If this photo was taken in Switzerland, which team was the crowd cheering for? Was there a Swiss rugby team in the competition?

What's the biggest sport in your country?
In Sillypore, it's swimming, table tennis (ping pong), sailing and shooting.

Table tennis came the closest to an Olympic medal when a Sillypore national player missed out on a Bronze in 2000 Sydney.

Sillypore has only 1 Silver medal to date, from the 1968 Rome Olympics.

This was an Argentina game - but I forget who the opponents were. Not Switzerland. Switzerland does ok for a small country in sport, probably because there are a lot of facilities here and people like to keep in shape. Recently tennis has been to the fore with Martina Hingis and of course Roger Federer. Cycling has also been a top sport - Fabian Cancellara is the World Cycling champion (time trial) for the last two years and KAren Thurig was womens champion two years ago. Natascha Badmann has won the Ironman Triathlon event (womens) for 6 out of the last 9 years. In the world cup the Swiss football team progressed past the group stage and were knocked out of the last 16 by Ukraine without having lost a game or conceded a goal in normal time. The Swiss are also among the top curling teams in the world (men and women), curiously along with another small country, Scotland. Tom Luthi was 125cc Motorcycle world champion, but has dropped back a bit recently moving up to 250cc. Marcel Fischer beat the chinese to win the mens epee fencing gold in Athens 2004. However the sport the Swiss really want to do well in is skiing, but the arch rivals Austria have dominated for the last few years. Although the Swiss are top in snowboarding
